Our Story
Our community Wind band was established in September of 2024, with a wide range of performers joining from week one to create some fun and music. It quickly became a hub of like minded adults and children with a real sense of community. Every week new players are joining and loving the experience of creating music together. We now have over 30 players over a wide range of instruments!
All of our players range in standard from Grade 3 through to Grade 8 standard and we try to cater for each individual. Music is varied in standard in style from playing pop music such as ‘Living on a Prayer’ and ‘Coldplay in concert’ to ‘The nutcracker Suite’. The group plan to change repertoire each term to give variation, but perhaps keeping on some of our favourites!
