Our Story
Our community Wind Band was established in September of 2024, with a wide range of performers joining from week one to create some fun and music. It quickly became a hub of like-minded adults and children with a real sense of community. Every week new players are joining and loving the experience of creating music together. We now have over 50 players over a wide range of instruments!
All of our players range in standard from Grade 3 through to Grade 8 and we try to cater for each individual. Music is varied in both standard and in style, from playing pop music such as ‘Living on a Prayer’ and ‘Coldplay in Concert’ to ‘The Nutcracker Suite’. The group plan to change repertoire each term to give variation, but perhaps keeping on some of our favourites!
