North Shields Folk Orchestra

Our Story

The North Shields Folk Group brings together a mixture of instrumental players to perform as an orchestra. If you play flute, whistle, violin, clarinet, guitar, ukulele, bass, cello and can sight-read a simple line of music then you are most welcome to join.

Perhaps you learned to play in school and haven’t played for a few years? Lets dust off that instrument and use those skills you spent so long learning!

Repertoire will be varied in style and parts will be developed for players of different standards.
