Christmas Scratch Choir

Sing Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus with Blyth Symphony Orchestra

We warmly invite you to join a special scratch choir for a one-off festive performance of Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus, accompanied by Blyth Symphony Orchestra, as part of our Christmas Concert.

Whether you currently sing with a local choir or simply enjoy choral singing, we would be delighted to have you join us for this special occasion.

Concert Details

Venue: St Cuthbert’s Church, Plessey Road, Blyth, NE24 3AB
Date: Friday 11th December
Concert: 7:30 pm

Choir Rehearsals

There will be two rehearsals before the concert:

• Sunday 22nd November: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
• Sunday 29th November: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Concert Day

The schedule for the day will be:

• 5:30 pm – Choir arrival and load-in
• 6:15 pm – Rehearsal with the orchestra, including the Hallelujah Chorus and selected carols
• 7:00 pm – Doors open to the public
• 7:30 pm – Christmas Concert begins

Registration is required for everyone taking part in the scratch choir. We need your details both to keep you informed and to meet our health and safety requirements.

Once you have registered, you will be added to a dedicated WhatsApp group for the scratch choir. This will be used to share important information, rehearsal updates, reminders and other event communications.
