PLAY FOR A DAY
Join Yamaha Music School North East CIC during the half-term holidays for fun, half-day, music-making sessions! These ensemble courses are a fantastic opportunity for musicians (Grade 3+ or equivalent) to meet others, learn exciting new music, develop their ensemble skills, and perform an informal concert for family and friends at the end of the session.
Players must be able to learn new music fast on the day!
Each course costs £14 per person.
Woodwind Ensemble
For flute, piccolo, oboe, clarinet, bass clarinet and bassoon players. Enjoy making music together, develop your ensemble skills, learn new repertoire, and perform in a relaxed end-of-session concert.

Percussion Ensemble
Explore rhythm, teamwork and exciting percussion music in a fun group setting. Build confidence, learn new pieces, and finish the session with an informal performance.

Introduction to Jazz
Perfect for pianists/keyboard players, guitarists, bassists and drummers who want to explore jazz. Learn the basics of improvisation, groove and ensemble playing in a small-group setting.
